Overview

Pioneer Hall at Texas Woman's University (TWU) is home to Kitty Magee Arena, a multipurpose gymnasium. The arena hosts the university's intercollegiate basketball, gymnastics, and volleyball teams.Pioneer Hall was completed in the spring of 1997. It added academic and athletic facilities to TWU. The arena is named after a TWU alumna and faculty member.
The arena has won several championships, including 10 years of gymnastics championships. Some say the facility is clean and great for athletic events. Others say the basketball court is nice and the swimming area is great.
Pioneer Hall and Kitty Magee Arena have wheelchair accessible entrances and parking lots. Admission is free.
